Aluminium Bahrain aims USD750mn loan

(MENAFN) Aluminium Bahrain seeks for USD750mn loan in order to finance its line 6 expansion project.
Moreover, Alba will become the main single aluminium smelter complex, improving its annual output by 540,000 tons to 1.5mn tons per year.
The production is predicted to start by 2019 and Alba is raising almost USD3bn to help finance the scheme via a mixture of loans from banks.
In addition, the firm targeted USD3.5bn, but this was cut back due to lower oil and commodity prices.
