Aramco, Chinese groups sign deal to build refining, chemical complex

(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco, China North Industries Group (Norinco) and Panjin Xincheng Industrial Group inked a deal for a refining and chemicals complex in northeast China.

However, there might be some challenges in the installation of the project, but Saudi Aramco will be able to overcome those issues taking into consideration its proven record of project management skills.

Meanwhile, the project will promote China’s “Belt and Road” and it will expand Saudi Aramco’s footprint in China’s downstream industry.

In addition, it will also enhance the competitiveness of Norinco’s petrochemical and value-added chemical divisions and upgrade the whole economic revitalization in Liaoning and Panjin.
