Aswan to receive 12 transformers for solar energy projects
19 Aug 2016
(MENAFN) Twelve transformers will arrive in Aswan to be installed in Benban, Aswan, while customs clearance in Ain Sokhna port has been finished.
Meanwhile, China XD and EGEMAC signed a deal with the Egyptian Ministry of Elect to supply EGP650mn worth of stations and transformers for the transmission.
Accordingly, the firm will finish all supplies and instalments in Nov, but problems between solar energy firms and the Egyptian Elect firm made a delay.
In addition, the firm will also establish 12 electricity transformers with a capacity of 175 MVA, while 9 units will be installed in Benban stations 1,2 and 4.
