(MENAFN) Audi Middle East managing director, Jeff Mannering, stated that in July, the company’s sales in the region surged 34 percent to 661 units, reported Arabian Business.
Mannering said that during the January-July period, sales in the Middle East reached 4,935 units, representing a 17-percent growth.
He added that sales of the Audi A6 sedan soared by 76 percent during the period, to 1,006 sold units.
The strongest demand for the brand’s products was recorded in the UAE, with a total of 2,024 units sold in the country, followed by Saudi with 1,025 vehicles and Kuwait with 671 units.
It is worth noting that last year, the German carmaker sold nearly 1,302,659 units.
