(MENAFN) The President and CEO of Aujan Industries, Kadir Gunduz, said that with support from 2010 growth of 20 percent, the company is on its way to accomplish its sales target of USD1 billion, reported Gulf News.
Gunduz said that Aujan Industries is the biggest privately-owned beverages company in the Middle East. It produces the beverage brands Rani, Vimto and Barbican.
Gunduz added that the sales of the juice brand Rani rose 23 percent in 2010 year-on-year. Vimto, which accounts for 90 percent of the regional market, sold 29 million bottles in the GCC in 2010. Also, the barbican brand grew in terms of footprint and product range.
The CEO said that Aujan plans on expanding globally and making further gains in market share across the MENA region, concentrating on fast-growing markets like Egypt, Syria, Libya, and Algeria.
