(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa, announced on national TV that the country’s losses amount to millions of US dollars due to the political unrest that took over the country recently, reported Arabian Business.
He said that the interference of armed forces came when the unrest reached a point that the country could not afford losses any more, especially that the country’s youth were being pushed towards what he called a destructive path.
He said that the armed forces interference saved the youth of the Kingdom, the country as a whole in addition to its economy.
Hi concluded saying that all violence acts should be rejected, and focus should be kept on the modernization and development of the country, as well as the safety of its people.
