(MENAFN) Bahrain?s Industry and Commerce Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment at the Bahrain Embassy in Washington, BNA reported.
The deal aims to enable the private sector in both countries to set up joint ventures in various fields to maximize the benefit of the Free Trade Agreement between Bahrain and the US, Bahraini Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro said in a speech to mark the occasion.
The MoU was signed by Dr Fakhro and US Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain president Adel Al Safar, on the Bahraini side, and Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment executive director Edwin G Carr and Housing and Economic Development Secretary Gregory Bialecki, on the American side.
