(MENAFN) Bahrain’s Alba announced that its sales registered an increase in the July-September period of this year, increasing by 2.3 percent compared to the same period last year, Gulf Daily News reported.
The smelter said that its sales during the third quarter of this year reached 232.922 metric tons compared to 227.758 metric tons sold in the third quarter of 2013.
The company’s production also increased by 3.438 metric tons during the cited period, reaching 233.496 metric tons in comparison with 230.058 metric tons produced in the same quarter last year.
Meanwhile, the company’s sales grew by 1 percent during the January-September period, reaching 689.203 metric tons, while production increased by 14.723 metric tons to reach 697.508 metric tons produced during the cited period.
