(MENAFN) Tamkeen signed a business incubator expansion agreement, under an organized support programme, with Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), Gulf Daily News reported.
Under the agreement, more incubator centers are set to be launched in order to support start-ups across a number of sectors, such as Rukn to cater to information and communications technologies start-ups.
The programme, which was launched in April 2011, is a joint Tamkeen and BDB initiative, aiming at supporting start-ups and fledgling enterprises.
Added to incubation units, the programme is also set to provide facilities to hold meetings, offers low-cost financing and strategic consultations, and conducts high-level entrepreneurship training courses.
