Bahrain’s Batelco, Ericsson sign deal

(MENAFN) Batelco announced it has extended its partnership with Ericsson after signing a new transformation agreement with the company focusing enhancing Batelco’s network, Gulf daily News reported.
Batelco said that the new agreement comes as part of the major transformation work which the company is currently conducting on their network and comes due to growing customer demand for increasingly powerful mobile services.
The project, which will see the upgrade of Batelco’s 4G network, is mainly aimed at making mobile broadband connections faster for subscribers, as well as providing superior voice quality, set of new services and offers, and expanding the network to cover new areas across Bahrain.
