Bahrain’s Batelco offers DDoS service

(MENAFN) Bahrain-based Batelco has launched its distributed denial of service (DDoS) mitigation solution that will be the first of its kind to be introduced by a telecom provider in the market, according to Gulf Daily News.
The DDoS mitigation solution is part of Batelco’s cloud portfolio.
Batelco business division general manager Adel Daylami said: “DDOS, vehicle tracking and IMaaS are some of the cloud initiatives already launched with more in the pipeline.”
Daylami added: “Cloud solutions will transform the way business is conducted injecting more flexibility, improving operational and cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and speeding up deployment.”
