Bahrain’s project market hits USD65b

(MENAFN) The total value of projects in Bahrain reached USD65 billion, which encompasses the projects that are currently being studied, according to MEED Projects, Saudi Gazette reported.

MEED Projects, the region’s number one projects tracking service, dissected the Bahraini market and said that the construction sector enjoys the biggest contribution with USD30.4 billion.

The transportation sector comes second with USD10.9 billion contribution. The power and water sector is third with projects valued at USD6.1 billion.

Moreover, there is a total of USD44 billion worth of projects that are set to be undertook in the future and are presently being studied by Bahrain Infrastructure and Finance Forum, which will be held by the end of the month.
