BBK announces the appointment of the Chief Representative of BBK Dubai office- UAE

BBK, Bahrain pioneer in retail and commercial banking announced the appointment of the Chief Representative of BBK Dubai office- UAE. This announcement comes in line with the BBK’s new organisational structure announced lately with the aim of optimising performance and increasing efficiency to ensure continued strength and maintain the Bank’s pioneering position locally and regionally.
Mr. Ali Ehsan Abbas has been appointed as Chief Representative of BBK Dubai office effective 1st, September 2013, succeeding Mr. C.K. Jaidev who was appointed as Assistant General Manager – Overseas Banking in the Head Office in Bahrain. Mr. Ehsan has over 8 years experience in the Corporate Banking Division and started his career as a candidate in the Management Trainees Development Programme which has started in the year 2004 with the objective of training and developing Bahraini talents and positioning them in leading positions in the Bank.
On this occasion, Mr. A.Karim Bucheery said: “BBK has always capitalized on the competencies and leadership skills of the Bahrain nationals and given Bahraini talents opportunities in leading positions to take the Bank forward. We are very pleased with the new appointment and confident that it will ultimately benefit all stakeholders of the Bank”
On the other hand, Mr. Bucheery added: “With the appointment of Mr. Ali Ehsan we would like to continue with our Dubai Representative Office strategy which aims to maintain the credit volume and quality in the portfolio and seizes promising opportunities in the market to develop the Bank business.”
