BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking has announced the names of the three winners of the e-channels campaign “Let BBK’s e-channels take you to the legendary Spanish League” which was launched in December 2014 and was aimed at encouraging clients to use the e-channels for their banking transactions. Each of the three lucky winners has won two airline tickets to Barcelona, hotel accommodation for two and two tickets for the 22nd of March 2015 El Clásico football match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid FC.
The draw took place on February 9th, under the supervision of Mr. Suood Saif the Ministry of Industry and Commerce representative, in addition to BBK’s Internal Audit, Internal control, Retail Marketing and Retail Banking representatives.
The three winners of the trip to Spain for an unrivalled Catalonian experience are as follows:
1. MOHAMMED AKBAR AMEEN
2. GHASSAN GHALEB ABDULAAL
3. SUDHAKARAN MELEVEETTIL
During the handover ceremony, Mr. Mohammed Ameen stated that he has been using the BBK e-channels for a long time; it is very straight forward and easy to use. He finds it very useful as it saves him a lot of time and proved to be very convenient rather than going to a BBK branch to complete his transactions.
Mr. Ghassan Abdulaal said that he has never been to a football match in Europe. Going to a Clásico match has always been one of his wishes as he likes to attend big matches and there’s no better match to attend than the Barcelona vs. Real Madrid Clásico match which he’s really excited about.
Commenting on the handover of the e-channels campaign prizes, Mohammed Malik, BBK’s GM Retail Banking said: “BBK has come to provide clients with an opportunity to enjoy brighter moments in Barcelona by capturing the BBK brighter banking moments. We always encourage our clients to use alternative banking channels and create awareness about the speed, security and convenience associated with using them, as they can be accessed through any device from anywhere without the need to visit the branch. We will continue to come up with innovative campaigns that will attract our clients and will motivate them to use the BBK’s e-channels that have proven to be more convenient. This campaign was part of the Bank’s continuous efforts to motivate clients to opt for using the latest technologies that are simplified yet provide a secure online banking experience”
The Bank continues to build clients’ awareness on alternative banking channels and has held numerous “E-Banking” roadshows during 2014 in several BBK Financial Malls showcasing the use of BBK Internet Banking and highlighting the security features. It is also worth mentioning that the Bank has recently launched its “Dual Factor Authentication” security feature, a technology that provides yet another level of security when transacting online. It helps protect clients against stolen or lost passwords and unauthorized access to their financial information online.
