BBK, a leader in retail and corporate banking in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has
successfully concluded the third edition of ‘Grow’ training program, which is designed
to equip Bahraini graduates with essential skills in finance and banking.
The program spanned six months of intensive, hands-on training and culminated in
the graduation of 18 talented interns, underscoring the Bank’s strategic investment in
national human capital and its unwavering commitment to empowering Bahraini youth
for the labor market. It featured comprehensive training modules, personalized
mentorship from senior executives, and practical project assignments. In addition to
their departmental roles, interns worked on strategic projects that demanded
innovative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
These projects concluded with formal presentations to BBK’s management, where
interns demonstrated their insights and applied expertise in key areas such as data
analytics, self-management, project management, creative problem-solving, and
sustainability-driven practices. This holistic approach ensured participants gained both
theoretical knowledge and practical experience, preparing them to excel in real-world
challenges.
Mrs. Najwa Al Ahmed, Head of Human Resources at BBK, commented: “We are
extremely proud of the achievements of the third edition of the Grow program and the
exceptional engagement shown by the trainees throughout its duration. The program
was meticulously designed to deliver a well-rounded training experience that builds
practical skills, sharpens analytical and innovative thinking, and fosters direct
interaction with BBK’s leadership. This approach helps prepare a highly qualified
generation capable of making a meaningful and lasting impact on the future of the
banking sector.”
Mrs. Al Ahmed further noted that the program reflects the Bank’s firm commitment to
empowering Bahraini youth by equipping them with the skills and confidence required
to succeed in an increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving labor market. BBK’s
ongoing focus on developing national talent through such initiatives constitutes a
strategic contribution to the long-term success of the Bank, the banking sector, and
the national economy.
