BBK announces winner of $500,000 in Al Hayrat’s 10th Anniversary!

Al Hayrat, BBK’s unique savings account that presents exciting opportunities for its customers to win prizes while they save, has made the announcement everyone has been waiting for, the winner of the Grand Prize draw. The draw, in Al Hayrat’s 10 year Anniversary, offered Bahrain’s biggest single lump sum cash prize of $500,000 and was carried out on the 19th January 2011 under the supervision of Mr. Yasser Buallay Ministry of Commerce Representative and bank officials.
Dr. Munther Suwaileh, a father of 3 and x-ray doctor at the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital was announced as the lucky grand prize winner. He received the star treatment, commencing with being collected in a stretch limousine and was presented with his cheque for $500,000 by Mr. A. Karim Bucheery, CE of BBK in the Main Branch on the 24th January 2011 during a special handover ceremony. The reception was attended by GM Sh. Rashed Al Khalifa and Mr. Reyadh Sater, alongside senior management from the Bank.
the grand prize draw represented the culmination of a year’s worth of prizes totalling $1,500,000. All investments made by 16th December 2010 were eligible for the draw. The greater the amount invested, the greater the chance of winning.
At the ceremony, Dr. Suwaileh expressed his excitement at the win and stated that he hasn’t made any plans on how to spend the winnings yet, but is very thankful to BBK for this amazing, life-changing win.
