BBK contributes BD 18,000 to Children Care and Development Societies in the Kingdom

In line with BBK’s strategic initiatives for a brighter community, Mr. Abdulkarim Bucheery- BBK’s Chief Executive and Mr. Jamal Hijris- General Manager- Support Group welcomed at the Bank’s Headquarters, representatives from various societies dedicated to the wellbeing of children to receive BBK’s contributions for their requests. The handover ceremony was attended from BBK side by Mr. Hassaan Burshaid- Assistant General Manager- Human Resources and Administration Division and Mrs. Rafa Kadooura- Corporate Communication Manager.
The entities that have benefited from the BBK support totaling BD 18,000 to fulfill their various child and family initiatives are: Bahrain Society for Child Development represented by Salwa Al Moaayed – Member of Board of Directors, Bahrain Institute for Special Education represented by Dr. Zahra Al Zeera President of the Society, and Dreams Society represented by Aysha Fakhro Vice Chairman and Abdulla Fakhro Bored Member.
BBK is keen to support such entities considering their focus and active role in the field of child care and development, helping children with special needs and contributing to a generation with a brighter future.
As one of the major financial institutions in Bahrain, providing regular contributions to various humanitarian causes and societies throughout the years, BBK has supported entities including major clubs, charity funds and social initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at achieving the sole goal and vision of a brighter future and community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
