Coinciding with the Labour Day celebrations, BBK  honoured 109 of its loyal employees who served the Bank for many years and contributed to its success, at a ceremony held on the 25th of April 2017 at the Gulf Hotel. Under the patronage of the Chief Executive of BBK, Mr. Reyadh Sater and  in the presence of BBK Executive Management, the event was also attended  by Mr. A.Aziz Ahmadi, the Representative of the Bahrain Banker’s Union.
The  employees were awarded for their 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 35 and 40 years of service with recognition trophies and cash awards. Following the honouring ceremony, a luncheon was held in their honour.

During  his  speech, Mr. Reyadh Sater thanked the employees for their notable contributions to BBK’s development and for their loyalty to the organization. Addressing the honourees, Mr. Sater said: “the success of any organisation is in its human capital. The loyalty of our employees, their integrity and ambition, heir enthusiasm and ability to face challenges and turn them into opportunities is what makes us stand part.”

With a history that spans more than 46 years, BBK was able to maintain its leading position and increase profitability. This is attributed to the human capital policies that the Board of Directors and the management endorse to ensure retaining the-high-calibre-employees.

Mr. Hassaan Burshaid, General Manager, Human Resources and Administration group stated that BBK appreciates loyalty, hard work, and professionalism and always strives to reward its dedicated employees. On this occasion, Mr. Burshaid commented: “The employees are our top priority, and so we work hard to ensure the right working environment in order to support and develop their professional careers and increase their productivity and loyalty to the organisation. We also strive to continue enhancing our recognition schemes and honouring programmes”. 

The Service Award Ceremony, which is held on an annual basis, is part of BBK’s approach to reward its employees’ dedication and appreciate their continuous efforts and loyalty.​
