BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, and the leading provider of Cash Management solutions in Bahrain, announces the launch of “BBK BanKey”, a state-of-the-art digital platform that delivers a comprehensive range of Cash Management services for businesses and institutional clients.

BBK BanKey allows clients to initiate multiple types of payments, automate reconciliation of their receivables, create and manage their liquidity structures while having an increased visibility of funds across multiple accounts and providing for rich information reporting; all from the comfort of their offices.

The design of BBK BanKey has been in line with the industry’s best practice and incorporates “STP” (straight-through-processing) which brings new levels of operational efficiency, improved accuracy and faster turnaround times. To ensure the integrity of clients’ transaction data the platform uses the highest possible security standards, including 128bit SSL encryption and dual-factor authentication.

Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, BBK Group Chief Executive said: “BBK is known for its leadership in deploying technology enabled services and in retaining that position, understanding how imperative it is to have a digital environment that supports innovative, customizable and rapidly deployed products. BBK BanKey is an integrated transaction banking offering that allows clients to consistently view, monitor and control their consolidated financial data. This platform will be accessible to our clients anywhere, at any time, – ensuring BBK is their trusted banking partner”.

“In line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s numerous initiatives to transform itself into an innovative financial hub in the Gulf Region and BBK digitization strategy, the Bank strives to constantly adopt robust, affordable and risk-alleviating solutions. Digital banking is the way to go and BBK BanKey is part of BBK’s Digital offering allowing clients to enjoy full transparency and real-time information on the health of their working capital at any stage of the cash management lifecycle”, Dr. Saif added.
