BBK launches KYC update campaign with a chance to win cash prizes

BBK, a leader in retail and corporate banking in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched a new campaign inviting customers to update their” Know your customer” information with the Bank for a chance to win cash prizes.  As part of the campaign, 40 winners will be selected each month in July, August, and September 2025, bringing the total number of winners to 120, each receiving a BD 100 prize.

Customers can update their personal information digitally through the customer information update service sections on the BBKPLUS App or the BBK website. Alternatively, they may download the form from the Bank’s official website, bbkonline.com, complete it, and email it to [email protected]. Customers may also update their information by visiting the nearest BBK branch and completing the KYC form in person.

Mr. Ahmed Taqi, General Manager of Retail Banking at BBK, stated: “We are pleased to launch this campaign as part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to upholding the highest standards of transparency and regulatory compliance, while also recognizing and rewarding customers for their proactive engagement in updating their information. This initiative reflects our approach of integrating compliance with enhanced customer experience, by transforming a routine data update into an opportunity to win valuable rewards.”

Mr. Taqi invited all customers to update their information with the Bank and to get a chance to be among the 120 winners and affirmed that BBK remains committed to position itself as a trusted partner dedicated to customer benefit and convenience. He also encouraged customers to use the digital channels of BBK for this activity for their additional convenience and in particular the BBKPLUS App as updates via the BBKPLUS App will also get 2 chances of winning the prizes.

It is worth mentioning that each customer is eligible to win only once during the campaign. Those who submit their KYC updates through the BBKPLUS mobile application will receive two entries into the prize draw, while customers using other channels will receive one entry.
