​BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has announced that 20 managerial employees have embarked on a high-level Leadership Programme in cooperation with UK based business school, Ashridge Executive Education.

The Senior Leadership Training Programme was launched on the 5th of September 2018 in the presence of BBK Chief Executive Mr. Reyadh Sater and Deputy Chief Executives Mr. Mohammed Malik as well as General Manager of Human Resources & Administration Group Mr. Hassaan Burshaid. This programme  includes four high level leadership modules and will be running over 8 months. Throughout the program, the participants will be working on projects that are related to the Bank’s strategies. The Agenda will also include individual leadership coaching sessions that are led by accredited coaches who will assess participants, leadership skills and design specific developmental plans to enhance each participant’s management and leadership competencies.

 The initiative is aligned with the Bank’s succession planning strategy which seeks to develop its people and nurture a culture of continuous learning. The Programme has been customized for BBK in line with its Leadership Competencies Framework and incorporates the latest innovations and best practices in leadership concepts.
