BBK presents annual contribution to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program

President of the Court of the Crown Prince, Sh. Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, received at his office at the Court, BBK Chief Executive Mr. Abdulkarim Bucheery who presented a cheque for BD 200,000 marking BBK’s fourth payment of its BD one million pledge to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) as a Platinum Sponsor.
Sh. Khalifa thanked BBK for its support and generous contribution to the Program, and praised its continued cooperation and contribution to helping the Program achieve its objectives; which are aimed at developing the capabilities of outstanding Bahraini students, providing them with the opportunity to attain university degrees at top international universities, and preparing them for demands of the job market by international standards.
From his side, Mr. Bucheery stressed on BBK’s keenness to support the CPISP as a Platinum Sponsor, praising the Program’s achievements and the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing Bahraini youth and launching educational and training programs to develop the talents and abilities of outstanding students. Mr. Bucheery also affirmed the importance of the Private Sector’s role in contributing to the development of Bahraini youth.
Present at the meeting were BBK Assistant General Manager – Human Resources & Administration Division Mr. Hassaan Burshaid, BBK Corporate Communication Officer Ms. Abeer Swar, CPISP Director Dr. Cynthia Gessling, CPISP Head of Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs Ms. Shatha Ahmed Ali, and CPISP PR and Media officer Ms. Esmat Ahmed.
