BBK Visa Debit Card promotion

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has teamed up with Visa International to launch a great “Summer Promotion”. This will run from 1st July to 30th September and rewards customers who make “Point of sale” transactions using their BBK Visa Debit Cards. All customers who use their BBK Visa Debit Cards this summer, whether in Bahrain or outside, will be entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win cash prizes totalling US$40,000/-.

For BBK customers travelling outside Bahrain over the summer period, the Summer Promotion offers a chance to win 3 cash prizes of US$10,000/- each in the lucky draw. There will also be 10 cash prizes of US$1,000/- each for customers using their BBK Visa Debit Cards for “Point of sale” transactions in Bahrain.

Launching the Summer Promotion, Axel Hofmann, BBK’s Head of Retail Banking, said: “at BBK we always aim to give our customers great service and great offers. Whether our customers are travelling overseas or staying in Bahrain this summer, we encourage them to use their BBK Visa Debit Cards for all their purchases, whether they’re in restaurants, shopping malls or hotels and travel agencies. They’re free, easy to use and safer than carrying cash, plus for the whole summer there’s now a chance to win great cash prizes too.”

The Summer Promotion offer is open to all BBK Visa Debit cardholders. Each “Point of sale” transaction whether in Bahrain or overseas entitles the cardholder to one entry in the lucky draw. The draws for the cash prizes will take place in October 2011 under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
