BBK recently won the Distinguished Projects Award in the field of social responsibility, at the regional level during an honoring ceremony held on the sidelines of the 33rd GCC Social Affairs & Development conference, in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia.
BBK General Manager – Human Resources & Administration Group, Mr. Hassaan Burshaid received the award on behalf of the Bank from Dr. Mufrej Al-Haqbani       former minister of Labor and Social Development. Upon receipt of the  award, Mr. Burshaid shed the light on the Bank’s dedicated role in the field of corporate social responsibility and its commitment in serving the community welfare in all its aspects; be it humanitarian, educational, health and economic development.

BBK Chief Executive Mr. Reyadh Sater expressed his contentment saying “We are delighted with this achievement and the winning of this prestigious award in the social field and at a regional level. BBK was recognized for its commitment in  leading projects carried out by the bank, reflecting its ongoing efforts to foster CSR initiatives and achieving the aspired progress and prosperity of the society.”.

Amongst other projects, BBK Health Centre in Hidd qualified the Bank to win this prestigious award. The project, which the Bank financed and equipped at a value of BD 4 million,  represents a unique model of advanced health care services and fitted with the latest medical equipment and devices.
