Bahrain pioneer in retail and commercial banking and Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR-AAA) – two of the most prominent entities in Bahrain signed an agreement whereby BBK will provide BCDR-AAA Cash Management Solutions catering to their payment requirements.

The signing ceremony was held at the BCDR-AAA headquarters on 23 May 2011 and was jointly signed by Ms. Samaa Al-Engineer, BCDR-AAA Director of Finance and Administration, and Mr. Rashad Akbari, BBK AGM Transactional Banking Division. The ceremony was attended by a number of senior representatives of both organizations including, Mr. Mushtaq Shaikh, Assistant ICT Director, Mr. Bassam Ghassan, Accountant Officer, and Ms. Aisha Aqeel, Finance Administrator from BCDR-AAA.  Present from BBK were Mr. Santhosh Lobo, Head of Cash Management Division, and Ms. Noof Al-Hassan, Cash Management Product Specialist.

Under the new agreement, BBK will provide BCDR-AAA with automated solutions allowing them to make just-in-time payments through “BBKCashlink”, an integrated Cash Management Platform. The solution will provide BCDR-AAA control over their accounts and enable easy reconciliation of their transactions. 

On this occasion Mr. Rashad Akbari, AGM Transactional Banking Division, BBK said: “This strategic agreement reflects BBK’s mission to provide state-of-the-art banking facilities to all our customers. This initiative highlights the comprehensive range of cash management services offered by BBK. The agreement comes as a result of cumulative efforts and expertise put through by BBK’s Cash Management Team in collaboration with the financial experts of BCDR-AAA to develop an end-to-end solution fostering their current workflow.”
Mr. Akbari added, “The signing of this agreement is a primary step towards developing and providing innovative banking solutions and the utmost levels of cash management services.”

BBK is the first local Bank to introduce the world class Cash Management Platform “BBKCashlink” in the region. Most recently BBKCashlink was awarded with both the Bahrain e-Content Award 2011 and the Middle East e-Government Excellence Award 2011 for e-Banking.
