(MENAFN) BMW Group Middle East’s director of sales and marketing, Reiner Braun, said that for the first half of the year, the company’s car sales in the Middle East rose 13 percent compared with the same period in 2010, reported Arabian Business.
Braun added that Abu Dhabi was the largest buyer of the automaker’s cars with 2,247 vehicles with a 32 percent increase in sales, followed by Dubai with 29 percent increase reaching 2,014 cars.
He also said that the company delivered 1,684 cars to Saudi Arabia with an increase of 14 percent followed by Kuwait with a 13 percent increase in car sales.
It is worth noting that in order to meet surging demand for BMW’s car models in the region, three new dedicated Mini showrooms were opened in Dubai, Bahrain and Saudi.
