(MENAFN) BMW Group recorded 6 percent growth in sales in the Middle East for the first half of the year, despite the unstable marketplace in certain countries, The Saudi Gazette reported.
In 2015 so far, BMW managed to sell a total of 16,706 vehicles to customers in 12 countries in the region, with the UAE being the largest market, accounting for 59 percent of BMW’s total sales.
Markets that sustained solid sales growth included Lebanon, increasing by 57 percent, Oman by 29 percent and Jordan by 18 percent.
“These results represent a healthy start to the year, and are testament not only to the strength of our brands ” but also to our commitment to ensuring that we offer the right products for each market,” the Managing Director for BMW Group Middle East said.
