Borouge launches new subsidiary in Beijing

(MENAFN) A spokesperson of Abu Dhabi-based Borouge, a provider of plastic products, said that the company has reinforced its existence in China by founding a new marketing and sales company in Beijing, Gulf News reported.

Borouge supplies polyethylene and polypropylene plastics solutions for the pipe, wire and cable, automotive and advanced packaging markets.

For Borouge, China is a vital market where the company’s investments show commitment to a long lasting partnership with Chinese consumers due to the fact that China is the world’s largest market for polyolefin with approximately 30 million tons consumed this year.

The current capacity of the Borouge plant, which started production nine years ago, is 600,000 tons of polyethylene.
