(MENAFN) Britain proclaimed that it has allocated USD1.24bn, involving 160mn pounds of new money in order to help Syrian refugees displaced by 6 years of civil war and nations that host them.
Additionally, global donors are projected to pledge billions more dollars in help for Syria at a two-day conference in Brussels.
Prime Minister May, who was in KSA after a visit to Jordan, will focus the addition British funds on making jobs and offering education for the refugees.
Furthermore, the UN has appealed for USD8bn of help this year, looking to Gulf States as well as European donors, with millions of people displaced amid Syria and near nations.
