(MENAFN) The Head of Communications at British Aerospace Enterprise (BAE) Systems, Louise Robson, said that the company, which is specialized in defense and security and providing products and services for air, land and naval forces, is seeking expansion Qatar, reported Gulf News.
Robson said that BAE is looking for maritime equipment business opportunities and to offer its services at the Nakilat Damen Shipyards, which is a joint venture between Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat) and Damen Shipyards Qatar Holding.
It is worth noting that BAE Systems Surface Ships established a joint venture with Abu Dhabi Ship Building in 2009, in order to launch Gulf Logistics and Naval Support, which is considered a major provider of through-life naval support services in the Middle East region.
