(MENAFN) Chinese chief official of the Mentougou district, Wang Hongzhong, said that his country inked an agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for building a luxury hotel in China that is modeled in the same way as the famous Burj Khalifa of Dubai, reported Tehran Times.
Hongzhong added in a press conference that this deal would cost $1.3 billion. The hotel would be located at the end of Chang An avenue, which runs across the Chinese capitals Tiananmen Square district.
Hongzhong added that graphics and planning of the project were finished. He said that once the project is completed the hotel would gain a seven-star rating.
It is worth noting that Burj Khalifa was launched at the beginning of 2010 as the tallest building in the world with 828m of height. It had cost around $1.5 billion.
