Chinese firm to set up fiber-optic plant at Tech Park in Egypt

(MENAFN) A Chinese firm has confirmed an offer to establish a fiber optic manufacturing factory at one of the technological parks, as announced Minister of Communication and Info Tech.
Meanwhile, Huawei’s local center to support innovation and training will serve 29 nations in Africa and the Mideast and will be one of 18 similar Huawei centers of around the world.
Furthermore, the regional center will offer integrated solutions, innovation support and training for youth on the latest communication technologies, like 4G and 5G.
Accordingly, Huawei considers Egypt to be a strategic market, particularly considering the new ties that the ministry concluded recently.
