(MENAFN) Total number of companies operating in the UAE-based DMCC has boosted by 1.027 to 8.865 in the first half of 2014, according to Arabian Business.
DMCC, the largest free zone in the UAE, said that the number of operating companies increased by 30 percent during the half compared to the same period 2013.
Officials said in a statement that The Burj 2020 District is now well underway with four global design firms currently competing for a contract.
DMCC said: “Both projects will cater to the increased demand of large multi-business and multi-national companies seeking to domicile their operations in an efficient, single-owner, commercial space.”
