(MENAFN) CompuMe’s i2 Co. chief executive, Dikran Tchablakian, said that the UAE based electronics and IT retailer signed an agreement with Carrefour by which the latter would provide concessions in its Carrefour Express convenience stores, reported The national.
Tchablakian added that CompuMe i2 would expand alongside Carrefour Express which in July would launch its first store in Qatar and by the end of this year would be expected to open other stores in Al Ain, Umm al Qaiwain and Sharjah, adding that it would be essential for his company to establish its presence in major markets through strategic partnership.
He also said that CompuMe i2 would provide Carrefour Express customers with IT and technology products including mobile phones, computer tablets, laptops and accessories.
It is worth noting that Carrefour’s supermarkets already have areas dedicated to electronic, IT and digital products, but the Express outlets will use CompuMe i2 to provide this service.
