The 2026 Promotional Campaign for Credit Cards Linked to Al Hayrat Account by Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait B.S.C.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Credit Card Promotional Campaign of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait B.S.C. (the “Bank”) (the “Campaign”) for the year 2026.
The Campaign will run from 22 January 2026 until 30 June 2026 (the “Promotional Period”).
Participation in the Campaign is limited to the Bank’s retail banking customers (“Bank Customers”) who hold a Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait credit card (the “Card”) during the Promotional Period.
Eligibility to participate in the Campaign is determined based on the volume of transactions made using the Card (“Transactions”) during the Promotional Period. Customers will have the chance to win a Jetour G700 vehicle through a draw (the “Prize”).
A customer becomes eligible to enter the draw to win the Prize, a “Jetour G700 vehicle, Model year 2026” upon making cumulative transactions of at least BHD 200 during the Promotional Period using the Card.
Every BHD 200 spent by the customer in local currency or its equivalent in foreign currency shall be counted as one entry in the draw.
If the customer applies for a new BBK credit card in exchange for an Al Hayrat account through the application during the promotional period, every BHD 200 spent in local currency or its equivalent in foreign currency shall be counted as two entries in the draw.
Only purchase transactions will be considered. Cash withdrawals and all types of fees (including cash withdrawal fees, late payment fees, interest, and maximum limit charges) will be excluded.
Winners will be contacted via phone, email, or SMS within ten (10) business days from the date of the relevant draw.
If the winner’s Card is closed and the Prize remains unclaimed for six (6) months from the draw date, the Bank will transfer the Prize to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for further action in accordance with applicable laws.
In the event of a winner’s death before claiming the Prize, the Bank will hold the Prize for a maximum of three (3) months from the date of death to allow the heirs to provide the necessary documents to claim the Prize, including but not limited to the relevant inheritance certificate, death certificate, and power of attorney (authorizing a lawyer or an authorized person to collect the Prize on behalf of the heirs). If the heirs fail to meet the Bank’s requirements within the specified period, the Bank will deliver the Prize to the Ministry of Justice in the names of the heirs.
Employees, directors, and affiliates of the Bank are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.
The Prize value will not be paid in cash. The vehicle will be delivered directly to the winner.
A customer will be disqualified from participating in the Campaign if any of the following occurs (“Disqualification Event”):
a. The customer’s accounts and/or credit card account and/or other financing accounts with the Bank are not in good standing or are in default.
b. The customer is subject to legal proceedings in any court of law related to the Bank.
c. The customer commits fraudulent or unlawful acts in relation to their account(s) with the Bank and/or credit card account and/or any financing or service provided by the Bank.
The Bank shall not be liable for any unsuccessful transactions made using the Card or any delay in updating transactions for any reason.
Invalid, disputed, or refunded transactions will be excluded, and the Bank will not accept any such transactions as part of the qualifying balance.
The Bank’s decision regarding the calculation of the qualifying balance, transaction validity, and forfeiture of the Prize amount shall be final, conclusive, and binding on the customer.
The Bank may, at its sole discretion and subject to the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, refuse to award the Prize(s) to any winner upon the occurrence of a Disqualification Event.
Customers who cease using their primary Card or close their primary bank account for any reason during the Promotional Period will be excluded from participating in the Campaign.
The draw will be conducted under the supervision of a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in the presence of a representative from the Bank’s Internal Audit Department, and the Bank’s external auditor. Winners will be announced by the Bank upon receiving the necessary approvals from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the announcement will be published on the Bank’s website or through other available channels.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In addition to these Campaign Terms and Conditions, the Bank’s account opening terms and conditions, along with any promotional materials and/or related terms and conditions, shall remain in effect and form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Bank may, at any time and at its sole discretion, amend or withdraw these Terms and Conditions after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and notifying the Central Bank of Bahrain and its customers of such amendment(s) or withdrawal, without any liability on the part of the Bank. The decision of the Bank and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in this regard shall be final and binding.
