(MENAFN) Port Sultan Qaboos’ (PSQ) Ports Services Corporation’s Commercial manager, Manoharan Kannoly, said that cruise traffic at PSQ in 2011 grew to 114 cruise vessels from 109 in 2010, reported Times of Oman.
Kannoly added that the number of passengers on these vessels reached more than 169,295 passengers.
He also said that with the increase in the number of arriving vessels and the upgrade of current facilities at PSQ, the growth pattern is expected to continue during the current year.
It is worth noting that the number of tourists per vessel ranges from 2,000 to 2,500.
