(MENAFN) Airbus’ spokesman, Justin Duban, said that Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) cancelled orders for USD5.82 billion 45 jets, reported The National.
Duban added that the total value of cancelled orders by DAE reached more than USD10.5 billion, adding that the last cancelled order included 34 A320 jets and 11 A350 jets.
He also said that the list price for the A350-900, which carried 314 passengers, was USD267 million, whereas the smaller A320’s cost reached USD85 million.
It is worth noting that in 2007, DAE ordered more than 200 planes, nevertheless, the carrier cancelled several multibillion-dollar deals following the global financial crisis.
