(MENAFN) Dana Gas’ Chief Executive, Ahmed al Arbeed, said that the company is looking into listing its shares in London Stock Exchange in an attempt to boost the company’s international presence, as well as counter fluctuating conditions in the Arab region, reported The National.
Al Arbeed said that the company is looking into the new listing as it is trying to lift up its share prices. He said that the company had faced more down turns regarding its shares as a result of the political unrest in the region.
Al Arbeed said that current share price in the Dubai stock exchange is unfair and does not represent the real value of the company.
It is worth noting that earlier this month, Renaissance announced withdrawing the listing of its unit, Topaz, from Abu Dhabi’s exchange for the same reasons.
