(MENAFN) To develop its smart operations and realize its goal to become a sustainable and innovative world-class utility, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has launched the Smart Power Plant.
Accordingly, the state of the art Smart Power Plant is basically set to significantly enhance the quality of life in Dubai and deliver its community with efficient and reliable electricity and water services.
In more detail, the plant is a centralized information system that automatically gathers data from control systems in real time and is capable of functions such as watering plants using the One-Way Data Device.
“The launch of the Smart Power Plant is part of our efforts to speed up the transformation of Dubai into a smart city, to ultimately make it the smartest city in the world,” said DEWA’s managing director and CEO.
