Dhofar number of visitors grows by 32 percent

(MENAFN) The Khareef Salalah Visitor Enumeration Project showed that 17,831 tourists visited the Governorate of Dhofar.
Moreover, the report showed an increase of 32 percent in the number of visitors, compared to 13,533 during the same period in 2015.
Meanwhile, total non-Omani Gulf visitors touched 3,360; UAE was on top with 2,157 as compared to 1,653 last year, posting an increase of 19 percent.
In addition, all visitors number reached 10,869 or 61 percent came through land and 6,962 or 39 percent via air.
