BBK’s Social Responsibility

BBK acknowledges the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the banking industry, particularly in Bahrain. CSR involves voluntary actions taken by organizations to integrate social, environmental, and ethical concerns into their practices. Over the years we’ve taken continuous steps to enhance our performance and achieve a more sustainable business operation.

Eligibility

BBK has developed a set of guidelines to help evaluate requests for support and contributions as per the below:

1. Entities requesting a donation should belong to any of the following categories:
2. Non- governmental organizations must be a formally registered entity authorized by the appropriate regulatory authority and has been in existence for at least 3 years.
3. BBK will consider applications from entities that meet its ultimate objective in benefiting the community and fall within the below six general categories
4. Donations shall, preferably, be in the form of financial support for a specific project of long lasting or permanent nature that may be named after the Bank. In general terms, the project could include inter alia
5. Requests can be submitted to the Bank in writing or digitally, and signed by the highest authority of the requesting entity. It shall provide detailed description of the project or the initiative, intended purpose and costing. Supporting document on cost, such as quotations or Performa invoice by the vendor shall be also submitted.
