Drydocks, German Lurssen Werft in a JV deal in Dubai

(MENAFN) Dubai shipyard Drydocks World has partnered with German luxury yacht manufacturer Lurssen Werft in a repair yacht joint venture, Arabian Business reported.
Lurssen Werft is a German shipbuilding company that designs and builds yachts and naval ships, and is a leading builder of custom super yachts, a statement said.
The two companies aim to work together on navy projects not limited to the UAE’s naval fleet. They plan to establish the JV in Dubai Maritime City (DMC).
Dubai Maritime City is already an established centre for yacht repair, the statement said.
