(MENAFN) du, the UAE-based operator, alerted its internet subscribers of possible slowdown in their internet connection due to technical issues, reported Arabian Business,
The operator stated it would conduct maintenance work on a submarine cable, causing slowness in connections. The company noted that there would not be complete loss of connection.
The company elaborated that the maintenance work in subject is not corrective, but is rather preventative.
The company added that it would try to minimize the effect of its maintenance operations as it would ensure that alternate routes from within du’s multi-cable systems are used during the cable maintenance period.
