Du to launch MNP campaign in December

(MENAFN) Dubai-based Du has announced an awareness campaign called mobile number portability (MNP) that allow customers to move phone numbers to a new carrier without losing the existing ones, according to Gulf News.
Fahad Al Hassawi, du’s chief commercial officer, said that the campaign is planned to begin in December with a deadline on December 22 to launch MNP campaign.
Al Hassawi said Du is “extremely” happy that MNP will so be a reality. “It’s good for the sector and good for the consumer.”
