(MENAFN) F&E Aerospace, the organizer of Dubai Airshow, said that the airshow recorded USD63.3 billion worth of orders, compared with USD14 billion in 2009’s Airshow, reported Emirates 24/7.
The organizer added that during the show, the number of visitors grew 6.7 percent over 2009’s 52,978 visitors to around 56,547 visitors.
It also said that the next airshow would be held in 2013, and would witness the relocation of the Dubai Airshow to Dubai World Central’s Dubai Aviation City.
It is worth noting that in order to accelerate the establishment of the site, the government would invest USD201 million.
