Dubai-Dodsal gains USD1.1bn Algeria energy project deal

(MENAFN) The Dodsal Group, a Dubai-based business conglomerate has been awarded an USD1.1bn engineering procurement and construction by Sonatrach, Algeria.
Additionally, the work, which involves detailed engineering procurement, construction and commissioning of the plant, will start and is organized to be finished by 2020.
Accordingly, this order enhances their long-term tie with Sonatrach and also reinforces their presence in Algeria, which is a strategic market.
Last year, Algeria boosted its gas exports and aims to increase gas output to 141.3bn cu m this year and 143.9 bcm in the coming year, from 132.2 bcm in 2016.
