(MENAFN) Dubai Duty Free (DDF) Chief Executive Officer Colm McLoughlin said that the company in 2010 hit for the first time a record in sales amounting to $1.27 billion with a fourteen percent hike in sales compared to the same period of the previous year, reported Arabian Business.
The CEO added that this was a higher number than the initial prediction of $1.25 billion. He said that travelers from China and Asia Pacific spent more this year and contributed considerably to the total number of sales.

The CEO added that almost 45 percent of passengers buy from DDF and spend an average of $46 per person.
