(MENAFN) Dubai Food Park has inked Dh1.35mn deal with Chinese investors in order to build the China-UAE Food Industrial cluster to enhance the emirate’s competitiveness.
Moreover, the 4.38mn square foot China-UAE Food Industrial cluster will be home to 300 food plants, involving two Chinese catering firms and two enhanced manufacturing plants.
Meanwhile, the project will have six main components; meals processing, packaged food processing, cold chain storage, production of food packages, e-commerce and commodities exhibition.
At least 75 percent of the whole project area will be collected for factories, 17 percent for warehouses while the rest will be allotted for offices and other facilities.
