(MENAFN) Dubai consumer price dropped in Feb this year to 0.22 percent compared to Jan 2016, which is related to a 2.79 percent drop in prices of transportation.
Furthermore, the prices of restaurants and hotels fell down 0.01 percent and of furniture; furnishings and household items decreased 0.09 percent.
On the other hand, miscellaneous goods and services prices increased 0.46 percent and housing, water, elect, gas and fuel prices grew 0.23 percent.
The annual inflation rate increased by 1.43 percent in Feb 2016 compared to Feb 2015, while the rise in education fees recorded an increase of 4.83 percent.
