(MENAFN) The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry as a part of their efforts to enhance cooperation ties between Dubai and Malta, Khaleej Times reported.
The strategic agreement focuses on expanding the financial services, ICT, tourism, maritime and logistics between the two countries as well as creating a closer working relationship between the two countries.
The MoU will also ensure that initiatives are taken to facilitate networking and business exchanges between companies and organizations between the UAE and Malta.
“The Dubai Chamber can use Malta as a base to sell their products and invest in Europe and North Africa while Maltese companies working with Dubai-based organizations can offer their products and services in the UAE and Gulf area thus the two sides can build a stronger presence in these markets,” Chairman of Dubai Chamber said.
